Hi,

Suddenly today, I'm getting this in the log file...

2018-11-01 00:24:45 ERROR :Error binding device 20 [046d:c260] to connection 1, BIND_ERROR

It's been working perfectly up until this point. It's still failing.

Please advise.

This is the log entry
2018-11-01 16:12:25 ERROR :Device redirection failed for USB\VID_2B23&PID_CAFE&REV_0001/USBDK1
2018-11-01 16:12:25 ERROR :Error binding device 23 [046d:c260] to connection 3, BIND_ERROR

There maybe an issue with the wheel. Can you plug the wheel into a usb hub first then plug the hub into the computer. Maybe its a power issue

#6

It's only ever plugged into hub.

Now the fault has escalated in that nothing can be 'used'. No log entries are written.

OK i since nothing has changed my end it must be some other update your side.

My first suggestion is to unplug a few things that you dont need first of all.

Second reboot your server

Thirdly, is to see what was installed in the last few days in windows. In Windows open Settings->Windows Update -> Update History.

Is there anything from Logitech?

#9

I'm using VirtualHere on Shadow.

I've completely reset the system. It's still not working.

The list of peripherals shows but I can't use any of them.

#10

Ok do this

1. Uninstall "UsbDk" from Windows->Applications and Features
2. Reboot your computer
3. Run the original virtualhere server. https://www.virtualhere.com/windows_usb_server

I think possibly the UsbDk package is conflicting with shadowpc's usbdk package.

#11

Thankyou so much.

That did appear to be the issue.

I can select the peripherals as expected now (fingers crossed).

Wow ok that was a good find by me:) I will take note of this if it happens again

#13

Hi,

For some reason I'm getting the 404 error for the Logitech wheel as before, using the original server.

I have tried the updated one too, but that fails as before.

Now I really don't know where to look. The USBDk file isn't installed.

I had to reinstall Shadow's USBDk, and it worked OK.

Apologies for the panic.

#15

Hey, same issue as Neil over here! Where do I find the "Windows" or the "Applications and Features" at?

#16

Right click the Windows start button -> Apps and Features
