Android Sever

Have been able to utilize for months the connection to a Paperspace Cloud Machine with the client and the USB Server on a local PC connect to a USB Ant+ stick.

Now have a Galaxy S10 and saw the Android USB server app. The server app on the device can tell the USB Ant+ Stick is attached but the client on the cloud machine cannot locate it with the Reverse Client setup like the Windows USB server. I add the Reverse Client IP address in the Android app but it does not seem to save it. Is the License required first for that?

Yes license is required

HI Michael. Purchased the License and the Android app confirms the purchase. But it appears the Reverse Client IP Address still is not being saved. I enter it and then select the checkbox and then select Close. The Client on the cloud machine still does not find it like it would for the Windows USB Server. If I go back to the Android app to see the Reverse Client IP address nothing shows to be available. Even after adding one if you select Remove nothing appears.

OK it should accept the reverse client. Did you put the license key into the virtualhere server app by clicking the menu at the top right ->License -> Enter License

#5

Yes I did. I was wondering if I need to reconfigure the port forwarding on the home router since I'm trying this from the Android device vs the regular pc I was using. At work so I was going to go the router settings when I went home.

#6

Correction. Opened the app on the android device and now it says it's unlicensed. I'll rectify this and give it another whirl!

Still will not save any Reverse Client IP Address. In the menu when selecting License it displays "This Server is licensed, thank you for your purchase". I'll enter the IP address of a reverse client. Check the checkbox and then close. To see if it is stored, I'll select Remove and there is not IP address displayed.

OK i double checked this on my pixel xl.

1. Download and installed the virtualhere app from the play store
2. Started it, then clicked the menu at the top right and selected Reverse clients.
3. Clicked Add then typed in the name of my reverse client ip
4. Pressed OK
5. Pressed Close
6. Waited a few seconds and it connected back through the 4G network to my client at my home office
7. In the app clicked the menu->Reverse Clients... and it still showed the reverse client in there
8. Clicked the checkbox next to the reverse client and selected Remove
9. Clicked Close
10. Clicked the menu again clicked Reverse Clients... and i see there is no reverse client listed.

Can you do those steps if it still doesnt work can you send me the system messages if you can by clicking on the menu ->System Messages->Copy to clipboard and paste into an email to mail [at] virtualhere.com (mail[at]virtualhere[dot]com)
