Problem with Logitech G25 on Android TV

Hello,

I have just purchased VirtualHere on Steam, impressive piece of software I must say!

However, I have two issues that stop me from fully enjoying it:

1. The wheel after being successfully recognised by my host PC (it is visible and binded in Logitech Profiler), does not utilise clutch axis, it just won't react.
2. Despite having the wheel working on system level in Windows, games will not see it as connected at all. Above only eliminates certain games, this stops me from playing all together.

Is there anything that could be done regarding my issue? I would really love to use the setup with VirtualHere!

Thanks,
MarcepanS

Hi Marcepan, try this, start the virtualhere server on your android device then plug in the wheel. Start the virtualhere client and when you see the "Android Hub" listed right click on the wheel and select CustomEventHandler and enter

onReset.$VENDOR_ID$.$PRODUCT_ID$=

then press OK. Now try to use the wheel via virtualhere and see if it works ok.

I have actually done that already, G25 won't work at all without that. I tried again today and issue still persists - no clutch response, nor is the wheel delectable in games.

OK ill buy a G25 and give it a test this week. I know it works fine on the steamlink hardware together with virtualhere but i think i might need to tweak the virtualhere android app a bit to get it working. So when i receive the wheel i'll see if i can get it working

That would be great, your commitment is highly appreciated. I'll be awaiting a response then.

I received the wheel and i am testing now... will get back to you next week

I made some fixes and pushed the new version 3.7.9 (1008) to the play store. Hopefully that fixes your issues. After you get the update, give it a try. If it doesnt work let me know

Michael,

Thanks for your efforts again, however before you replied back I was forced to take action with Steam in order to be eligible for refund, hence I do not have Virtualhere anymore, nor I need it as solved my problem by plugging the wheel directly to PC using USB extender.

Sorry for that and hope you fix helps someone else out there.
