Random dongle interruption in VirtualHere Client on Windows 7

Hello,

I have three VirtualHere Clients installed. Two in Windows 10, who are working without any issue, and one with Windows 7, where I have an issue.

I have notice that when I install Bonjour and VirtualHere drivers(http://prntscr.com/j4alfh), I can attach and use one key dongle without problem, but if I reboot this system, in the next login session, I will be able to attach it, but it will not work properly. It will not work must of the time, and I have to disattached and attach again, almost everytimes.

If I disattach and exit VirtualHere Client, and try to open it next, I receive this message at first attempt:

http://prntscr.com/j4aon5

I am using the VirtualHere Client x32 version 4.4.3.

Anyone knows what can be happening and how to solve it?

Not sure, try the latest client on that machine 4.5.1

#3

I will try it, thanks Michael.

Also do you know if there is a repository where it may be possible to download older client versions?

#4

No i only keep the latest version of virtualhere on this website

I had the same result with 4.5.1, sometimes works sometimes not, and if not I have to dettach and attach again that dongle via VH Client, and seems to solve the problem at that time.

If there is any way to get a log at VH Client, I can provide it to you.

Ok, try to use the dongle then when it drops, right click USB Hubs->System Messages and paste into to this forum

There was no changes while detecting or not the dongle: http://prntscr.com/j4qn7z

This dongle was working fine when was used directly in this Windows 7, and it works fine when used in Windows 10.

OK i dont think that dongle will be compatible via virtualhere and win7 32-bit, you will need to use win10 32-bit instead

I cannot upgrade this pc because of older programs that run only in Windows 7, otherwise I would do that.
