Is it possible?

I've just discovered this app by chance and am curious if it's possible to share devices (in my case an XBox One controller) FROM my PC to my nVidia Shield TV ?

I have managed to share a standard XBox360 pad FROM my Android phone to my PC no problem but I can't share anything from my PC at all on any of my Android devices.

I'm guessing this is the part where buying a license comes in?

Technically it can work but practically its impossible. The virtualhere client can use the linux kernel usbip driver to give android remote access to usb devices but because you need to recompile the android kernel and usbip module and load it into the kernel it requires too much hacking to get working. If the manufacturer of the android device e.g nvidia included this driver by default then virtualhere would work fine.
