Client deleting itself after use and causing folder permission problems

So I have the free version of VirtualHere server running on my Raspberry Pi 3 B + and VirtualHere Client for Windows 64 bit on my PC, which I am just running by running the exe file. Everything works fine but after a session, the downloaded "vhui64.exe" deletes itself/vanishes. It has happened every time but I have only actually seen it happen once - the file was saved on my desktop and it disappeared when I clicked the Windows start button. It had previously disappeared from my Downloads folder.

After the client has vanished, I then get permission problems with my folders - I go to re-download the client and when I try to tell my browser where to save the file it says I do not have permission to access that folder. This is fixed with a system reboot but then the cycle begins again.

What the hell is going on here? Very grateful for any help!

Virtualhere most definitely does not delete itself. Its windows doing it for some reason. Its almost like its some anti-virus thing. Is it "quarantining" it or something?
