Maybe a silly question...

Hi there,

We have a piece of equipment which doesn't have 64-bit driver support. We already use VirtualHere for some licence dongles, I was wondering if it would be possible to share a USB device which only has 32-bit support, to a 64-bit machine? This may be a really silly question, but is it possible to pass through the device from a 32-bit VirtualHere server, to a 64-bit Windows client?

Regards,
Richard

Hi Richard, not a silly question. But actually it wont work because if it only has 32-bit drivers for the dongle, after its passed through to 64-bit windows via virtualhere, those 32-bit drivers cannot be loaded to make the dongle operable.
