Steam Link

Hi,

I have recently got a steam link and I am trying to use an xbox one controller however the steam link isn't showing up on virtualhere client.

Has the functionality been removed now that steam are selling the client or should this still work?

What firmware build number are you using? I think in 518 its turned on in the menu section of the steamlink directly.

I have the same problem.

In addition, i have a full license purchased. Must i have the steam version to get VH works with steam link? I expect not, but its impossible to me get it work properly now. I have activated the share devices option in steam link menu, as you said in your post Michael.

Thanks.

OK i downloaded the beta firmware for build 518 to see exactly how valve has integrated it:

Its seems everything is automated now.

On the steamilnk I selected "Settings" -> "VirtualHere" then i enabled a device. Then I clicked Start Streaming then virtualhere was automatically installed and started on the windows machine and that device was automatically used and ready for use during the game all withing about 10 seconds.

So if you can send me your details to mail [at] virtualhere.com (mail[at]virtualhere[dot]com) i can refund the purchase via paypal so you can repurchase through the steam store and it should then be registered automatically and work as before.

Thanks for your efforts Michael.

I mailed as you said in order to solve this problem valve has generated.

Its true that in the long term all are advantages, but they are forgetting many people, only because they think in their cash... very disappointed with valve.

Thank you again Michael. You are being too generous wirh us.

Good bye.
