Cypress FX2

Hi
This is Chris.
First of all, I am really glad to find the USB network gateway.
As a hardware and firmware engineer, I have to connect usb devices so frequently such as fpga and arm jtags usually.
Thanks to the gateway, I can work everywhere in conjunction with the RDP connection and my macbook pro.
So far so good.

I have found that cypress fx2(USB 2.0) devic,e which I programmed to work with an FPGA through I2C doesn't work.
The device doesn't use isochronous but bulk to send and receive i2c data with an FPGA.

I connect my macbook which has a usb server application to a PC which has a client.
The usb device driver for fx2 is recognized perfectly but PC can't find actual device.

What should be the reason?
Do I have to modify the FX2 driver?

Thank you
Chris

Hi Chris, i can think of two issues.
1.What version of windows client are you using? If you can, use windows 10 as that has better compatibility with esoteric USB devices
2. Can you try connecting to your computer over VNC instead of RDP. Another thing is that rdp may block some usb devices it thinks are serial or security/token devices, using vnc works around this.
