Steam Link - Xbox One Controller

Hi, I bought steam virtualhere.

I own an Xbox 360 Wired controller and an Xbox One Wired Controller (Afterglow Prismatic Wired Controller) and connect them both to the Steam Link device.

If I activate the virtualhere, the Xbox One controller becomes useless. While with the Xbox 360 controller everything is ok (I can play FIFA 18 without problems) with the Xbox One controller I can not even move in the Big Picture menu (Steam)

I also bought the DLC, nothing has changed, solutions?

You need to use the xbox dongle via virtualhere. VirtualHere wont work with the xbox one controller when its wired.

Thanks for the quick answer.

My controller has the built-in wire, I can not take it off, it's not the wireless joypad.

If I connected the Xbox One Wired controller via USB to the Steam Link and I connect the dongle to the PC should it work?

No, the xbox one wired doesnt not work via virtualhere. The wireless one *does* work with the dongle

So... What can I do? I can't play with xbox one wired controller? I can't do anything for this? I need to buy another controller?

The steamlink already has built-in support for the xbox one wired controller. VirtualHere wont do anything with that controller if you have it plugged in.

I think its actually a steam client problem. Have you looked at the different controller settings in the steam client. E.g see here http://steamcommunity.com/app/440520/discussions/0/358416640399205034/?… this person goes into some detail, it may be relevent for your situation.

Even the non-original Xbox One controller has full support? To be precise I have a Afterglow Prismatic Controller (wired)... Is it supported by the Steam Link?

I dont know, some xbox controller copies work and some dont, give it a try, if it works let me know, if it doesnt, ask valve for a refund..

The question is this: Both the Xbox 360 controller and Xbox One (not original) are supported by the Steam Link, but if I use Virtual Here only the Xbox 360 controller is read, the Xbox One controller stops working. I need the Virtual Here software to play FIFA 18 so that the controller does not work as a keyboard and mouse (with the controller of the Xbox 360 in fact, connected via Virtual Here, I can play without problems, while the controller of the Xbox One stops to work on the Big Picture menu)
