Synology + printer Canon LBP7010C not printing,

Hi,

I have installed Synology DS218+ (VirtualHere server 3.2.9) and MacOS (Mojave 10.14.2) with VirtualHere client v4.6.4.

My printer was previously installed and configured as a standard USB printer on the Mac.

I installed VirtualHere client and server. I deleted the original printer from the Mac, and installed it again using the VirtualHere USB connection.
The printer appears, and I can connect using the standard Canon drivers for the device. However, when I send a print job everything appears to work but no actual printout is received. If I STOP using the device from the VirtualHere client, and then START using the device the print job immediately starts. Any ideas why this is happening, and what I can do to fix it? Unable to determine what entries VirtualHere might have put into the MacOS log.
