QNAP Config and Log File location

Hello,

I purchased and installed the qnap Server version 4.0.8 on a QNAP EC1080. I'm having some issues where client/server are experiencing timeouts with error 10054 noted in the client log, then reconnecting after a few seconds. Sometimes this happens every couple minutes, and other times after a couple hours. I'm wanting to review the Qnap server side logs for VirtualHere but am not sure where those are located when ssh'n into NAS. Was also considering adjusting timeout settings in the config file but also not sure where thats located on the qnap. Can you please advise where the log and config files are, and if theres any recommendations for addressing the timeouts.

The server side is dropping the connection. Im not sure if you are using a VPN or a firewall or something like that? but i think that is cutting the socket.

/var/log/vhusbd.txt is where the qnap virtualhere log is stored

When you ssh to the qnap you can run

ps | grep vh and that will tell you the path to the server. Mine says

/share/HDA_DATA/.qpkg/VirtualHere/vhusbdarm -r stdout -c /share/HDA_DATA/.qpkg/VirtualHere/config.ini
