Hi, this problem is really frustrating for me. Any help is appreciated.
I've been playing games on Steam Link app on Shield TV Pro 2019 for a while, with Xbox wireless adapter plugged in to USB port, and Virtualhere server installed and "shared" the dongle in Virtualhere settings in Steam Link.
After the streaming began, everything seems perfect for a while. Let's say 1 hour. Then suddenly the controller disconnected with the dongle, both flashing light and I need to reconnect.
It's not common, but still it interrupts the gameplay. And since I haven't found a way to paste texts from Android TV to other devices, I just shot an image of the system message of Virtualhere server. The time stamps is the exact time that the controller disconnected itself: https://ibb.co/61sCxxk
If the image is not enough, is there a way to copy the whole system message and paste them in mail or something?
.
Sorry for the inconvenience, if you dont mind could you install an email client on your sheild (https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/forums/shield-tv/9/281969/email-cl…)
then when it happens again, bring up system messages in the app->Copy All-> Paste into the email and send to mail [at] virtualhere.com (mail[at]virtualhere[dot]com)
.
OK thanks. I've sideloaded Gmail and copied the whole system message and sent it to you.
.
I streamed another session just now, and over the period of about 10 minutes, the controller disconnected twice.
I've copied the system message of both client and server and sent it to your email. Thanks in advance!
Solved
Just an update. After I used an USB extent cable and made the adapter further from the Shield, everything's OK. I've played for about 2 hour straight this evening and no issues. Seems like this is the main reason.
Thank you Michael for your help!

Thanks for letting me know!
