I have set up my racing rig in the basement, VH is working perfectly for my wheel and all regular USB attachments, I want to connect the Rift S - is there any way to do this? perhaps some workaround to connect the DisplayPort plug via a USB 3.0 adapter?
I really don't want to have to buy an Oculus Quest 2 (although I hear that it works great with VH)
Any leads would be greatly appreciated
thanks

No you need specialized hardware for that. Sending video over USB via virtualhere works but for VR you need low latency and to use 60Ghz wifi and displaylink
thanks Michael,
thanks Michael,
I looked into it, DisplayLink only seems to offer a solution for the Vive. I am running my VH setup through ethernet cables so latency isn't a problem. I am happy to still have cables on the VR headset, I was hoping there was some sort of solution where I could use cable adapters etc and it would mean i could connect the DisplayPort cable from the Rift-S to the VH USB hub somehow?
so i guess the only way to do
so i guess the only way to do oculus VR with VH is to buy the new Quest 2 headset? OR run a 100ft DisplayPort cable down through the house lol
