I've been unable to get a brother QL-800 Label printer working correctly.
Can see the device and select it in the client software however the computer identifies it as a USB stick but never mounts it.
No logs are generated either as the software believes its connected correctly.
Any ideas?

And you are using windows 10, and you have downloaded the latest driver from here for your client side https://support.brother.com/g/b/downloadend.aspx?c=au&lang=en&prod=lpql… ?

Yes. I had it working using USB for Remote Desktop from Fabulatech

OK try this, right click on the printer in the virtualhere client and select Custom Event Handler... and paste in exactly this line:
onReset.$VENDOR_ID$.$PRODUCT_ID$=then press OK. Unplug/replug the printer and try using it again via virtualhere.

Sorry for the delay in replying. It has been hard to catch the client at their office due to the constant lockdowns here in melbourne.
Unfortunately that has not worked. Any other ideas?

Worked it out. The server with seeing it as a removable device but was not giving it a drive letter. Did that and all working now.
