Hi,
I just installed the trial build for 32 bit Raspberry pi. I have an ESP32 connected to one of the PI's USB ports. It has a program that communicates to a terminal window connected to it's USB port.
The install using that curl... command went OK.
When I run the client on my windows 10 it shows the device. ( A syilabs CP2102x which is the port on the ESP32 )
I can connect to it using vhui42.exe and it looks like it works.
In windows device manager it pops up as COM5. All looks good so far.
I run putty with a serial interface set to COM5. Settings the same as when the ESP32 is local to my PC. When putty tries to connect it responds with "Error 433: A device which does not exist was specified".
Any Ideas?
.
Use the ESP32 device via virtualhere then on the PC client open Device Manager View -> By Connection->VirtualHere USB 3 Extensible Host Controller and find the COM port under that then right click on it and select Properties. Does it have a Power Events tab? If so UNcheck allow Windows to turn off this device
