USB keys stopped working properly after update

Hello!

I have several Windows 2019 servers that use VH client. Yesterday my usb key stopped working (driver error 103, error while trying to upgrade to latest). VH client version was 5.4.1, so I decided to perform an upgrade to latest by hand. As a result, after full cleaning (vhui.exe -y and reboot) one machine refuses to install driver at all, another seemed to upgrade VH and drivers properly, but the usb-device itself (although I can see it in devmgmt) is not connected.

I tested it in our "backup usb share solution" -- everything is working fine. Can I fix this problem somehow?

I suspect the problem will continue to spread to other win2019 servers we are using, because VH client will try to upgrade itself and crash

---UPD: Fixed the problem by updating VirtualHere Server to Latest

What key is it? "Upgrade to latest"virtualhere , or your key driver?

Virtualhere wont cause issues with windows 2019, it sounds like something is corrupted in your setup. You should run https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/use-the-system-file-checker-t…
