Unable to use smartcard after upgrading to Windows 11 22H2

Dear support,

I just upgraded from W10 to W11 22H2 and my remotely connected smartcard reader is not recognized anymore by windows security component when I try to use a certificate stored on the smartcard.

The reader by itself is correctly connected, I have a specific application (Trusted Key Manager) to reset my PIN that works fine, but I can't use the certificate from any certificate management tool or web browser.

I updated my client to the latest version, the server run on Synology NAS.

Win11 or 10 should not make a difference. Are you sure you have the latest drivers for your smartcard/dongle on your client pc? Ive seen e.g sentinel drivers need updates between windows versions in the past. Can you see the smartcard dongle ok in Windows Device Manager when its pass through via virtualhere? In Device Manager ->View By Connection -> VirtualHere USB 3 Extensible Host Controller and look for it under there.
