Based on the existing KB, "noticed VirtualHere send a ping every 3 seconds from server->client and from client->Server to gauge connection status. If no ping is heard for 9 sec the connection is considered broken and the client/server assume disconnection".
Could you please share the way to extend the Ping Timeout, the 3 sec is too short for our environment.
Thank you.

Its not 3 seconds its 9 seconds. It pings every 3 seconds, if it doesnt hear back after 9 seconds then the connection is considered closed. If you need a ping timeout longer than 9 seconds you need to reconsider your network setup as 9 seconds is excessive already.

Thanks Michael for your fast response.
We're actually hosting Hardlock license dongle from office (WAN network) and serve both office & offshore (Satellite VSAT network) users.
Lost ping is frequent happened for offshore especially during bad weather and solar interference.
User didn't realized disconnection of VirtualHere and upon connection resumed, USB device didn't re-connect. We've considered to enable "Auto-Use Device" option, however this option will not serving fair use for others.
Hope you can consider an option for VH Admin to set timeout parameter.
Thank you.
