Hi, I am using Virtual Here Client trial on a Windows 11 machine with WD MyCloud EX2 ultra NAS. The client sees correctly the USB hub and the attached usb drive but it fails to connect and to redirect with the following two messages: - "Sorry disk cannot be redirected via VirtualHere on a WD MyCloud NAS (192.168.1.112:7575)" - "There was a error using this device." I've tried different usb drives (pendrive, ssd, etc.) but I always get the same message. Thanks for your help.

Yes, correct, WD wanted me to block disks being redirected for some reason. So just on the WD nas, disks cannot be redirected via virtualhere

Thank you for contacting Western Digital Customer Service and Support. I am a senior technical support agent and will be taking over your support ticket.
I have investigated the issue you are facing with Virtual Here. Please note that the feature you are referring to, (USB Disk Passthrough) is a feature designed to work for Virtual Machines to gain access to a USB drive. The 3rd party app you are using is intended to make USB connected devices available as a network location when connected to the My Cloud. While i cannot comment on exactly why our engineers have disabled the Passthrough feature in the My Cloud, the overall intended use of the software should not be affected.

OK, seems they want it to stay as is.
