Thrustmaster TMX / T150 not working (code 10)

My current setup:

MacOS Sonoma (Server 4.6.1, Free version) through Tailscale (university wifi, cant port forward and reverse client doesn't work)

Windows 10 (Client 5.5.7) also through Tailscale

Thrustmaster TMX (same as the T150) wheel connected to mac 

 

When I connect the device to my mac, on the client a device named 'Thrustmaster TX GIP' shows up. When I connect to that it disappears and switches to 'Thrustmaster FFB Wheel'. When I connect to that through VirtualHere a device named 'Thrustmaster FFB Wheel' shows up in the windows devices list but gives a "This device cannot start (Code 10)" error. I've tried the "onReset.$VENDOR_ID$.$PRODUCT_ID$=" workaround but that doesn't seem to change anything. Any ideas?

Do you have the thrustmaster drivers installed on your mac? If so uninstall them and reboot your mac.

( If you dont have them installed, then install them.)

  See if that makes a difference.

It doesn't seem like there are drivers for mac? I could only find them for windows.

Can you paste in the log from the mac virtualhere server by clicking Settings->View Server log on the server
