I'm very new to linux, but I have a small little Ubuntu PC that I'd like to try this on. But I have no idea how to install it. The Windows version is a snap. I downloaded vhusbdx86_64 for Linux but I've tried everything to install but I cannot get anything to happen to get the nice GUI to show up like in Windows. Is this possible? If so, is there a tutorial on what to do?
I was able to get $ sudo ./vhusbdx86_64 -b
to do something without an error, but it doesn't seem to have done anything. Can't I just download a program like in Windows?
.
Search for "how to install" on this page https://www.virtualhere.com/usb_server_software
I was on that page a lot…
I was on that page a lot yesterday, but still don't know what to do. Do I use the curl statement?
curl https://raw.githubusercontent.com/virtualhere/script/main/install_server | sudo sh
.
Yes, however the linux server version does not have a GUI, it runs in the background
auto running on startup
I have a link for Dropbox showing me trying to run your Linux Server software automatically on Ubuntu 22.04 but I can't get it working. In the terminal I now have it running as you can see from one image. But if I restart, the server doesn't start automatically. Can you check to see what I'm doing wrong?

This is not a forum to learn linux so if those two steps dont work i think it might be a bit advanced and you need to read up on linux more.
Worked great. Thanks.
