Unable to bind controller from Mac server

I'm attempting to bind a GuliKit King Kong Pro2 controller from my mac desktop to my windows game streaming rig. Up until a week or two ago this was working without issue. Now when I attempt to connect the controller, I get the following error (the first three lines are a successful connection, the last two are the error).

I have manually reinstalled the client and the server from the most recent available download on the site. I have also verified that there is no network interference between the two machines. 

Possible that a MacOS update is preventing this from working?
