I just recently set up VH on a pi Zero W with a Zero4U usb hub. After installing the VH software on both the pi and my pc, I connected a pair of Virpil Constellation Alpha flight sticks. They both show up and are usable, but they register incorrectly: my right stick shows as the left and vice-versa. When physically connected to my pc they appear correctly and button pushes on the right stick register as the right stick in the Virpil software. Has anyone encountered a similar issue before?
.
Im wondering if there is perhaps a firmware update or something to fix it https://support.virpil.com/en/support/solutions/articles/47001259466-vpc-software-setup-version-20240323- did you update to the latest firmware? It talks about fixing a sensor inversion...
Thank you for that…
Thank you for that suggestion! It wasn't the solution, that was for a problem within the Virpil config software, there is Lite mode you can run, but it did get me on the right track. At some point I must have unplugged the sticks and plugged them back in to the opposite usb ports I had them in and the software got confused. I rechecked the sticks and they showed backwards in the config tool (I use the Pro mode, not Lite). I ended up resetting the profile for each stick then rebuilt them and everything is rainbows and unicorns now.
