Mac OS Davinci Resolve Studio dongle have to connect twice before it works

I'm using Server 4.6.7 on a Mac Mini running Mac OS 12.7.3 and Client 5.7.0 on a Mac Studio with Mac OS 13.6.4 (VH apps have been freshly updated in pursuit of this issue). We have three Davinci Resolve dongles being served by the server.

We've been experiencing a minor nuisance for a few versions now. This is not a dealbreaker at all, just hoping it's an easy fix on your end. I can't remember exactly when it started but it's easy to replicate. Here's what's happening:

When the VH client is freshly launched and told to connect to a dongle, it will tell the user that it's connected successfully ("in use by you"). However, if you check Apple's System Information app you'll only see a new "AppleUSBUserHCI" entry with no sub-entry inside it. And when you attempt to launch Resolve Studio, it doesn't see the dongle.

Now if you simply disconnect from the dongle and connect again (any of the three dongles), then you'll see the System Information app showing a "USB DONGLE" device within the "AppleUSBUserHCI" section and Resolve Studio works perfectly. If you exit the VH client and relaunch the issue will rear its head again.

Again, this is a simple workaround, just wondering if there's an easy fix to save my users the extra step.

Im not sure sorry. Perhaps the dongle driver was updated and it changed how it operates.
