USB sound card not recognized

Hello,

I'm trying to use a USB sound card with Virtualhere but I can't seem to make it work. Everything works fine with other USB devices (thumbdrives, mouse, ...), but the USB sound card does not work.

Here is my setup:

- Server: Raspberry Pi B running the latest Raspbian
- Client: Windows 7 x64 machine
- when plugged directly on Windows the USB sound card works great and is recognized as "USB PnP Sound Device"

Here is the error I get on Windows when trying to use the device: "Hardware ID missing - Windows cannot identify the device plugged into the VirtualHere USB Root Hub."

Any ideas to make it work ?

Thanks !

Michael
1. Make sure you have done

1. Make sure you have done apt-get update;apt-get upgrade and most importantly sudo rpi-update
2. Take a look in /var/log/syslog and see if vhusbdpin has logged anything here.
