Hi!
I bought a simple USB sound card based on a CM108 chipset and I'm trying to make it available to a Windows VM. Windows sees the device, installs drivers for it and does not report any errors, but no sound is coming from it (also in programs displaying video synced with audio the video is displayed in fast motion). When connected directly (to Windows, OS X and Linux) there are no problems and the sound card behaves as is supposed to.
The card is physically connected to a USB 2.0 hub connected to a TP-Link TL-WR1043ND, I'm using vhusbdmipssf version 2.0.4 and client version 2.6.4.
Is there anything I can do to make it work?
Thanks in advance for your help,
Michal
Hi Michal, im guessing that
Hi Michal, im guessing that the wr1043 is not powerful enough for streaming the sound card. Got a linux desktop available? If so install virtualhere on that and see if the usb sound streaming works with that as the server. If so, then definitely that router is not powerful enough for the streaming.
