I have tested the VH client on Win 10 pro 64 with Steam Link, everything connected with a PowerLine
It worked perfectly with one XBOX 360 controller connected to the SL, even "disabling input streaming" in SL options.
With many older games I have problems to get them work with XBOX 360 controllers and SL, so I have decided to buy the VH license.
I've followed the steps in the Support page and it worked perfectly once, even with 2 XBOX 360 controllers connected to SL.
After that first try, the only way to see on VH the only XBOX controller connected to SL is to hard-reset SL (remove and connect power supply) so I can see the controller on VH for few minutes, then nothing, VH keeps searching but cannot find it.
I forgot to say that I've
I forgot to say that I've tried out VH with SL public build and Beta 503 build
.
ok, i think what you are saying is that the xbox controller doesnt appear listed in the virtualhere client after a while, however you can still see the "steam link" server entry? Im trying to determine if the virtualhere server is running on the steamlink throughout this time or its crashed or something.
When you can see the controller for a few minutes i assume you can use it during this time?
Thanks for your fast response

Can you make the problem happen again and then send me the steamlink dump file or log files, i think that has information about virtualhere mail [at] virtualhere.com (mail[at]virtualhere[dot]com)
im not sure how you get this info as i dont have a steam link but i think it maybe in the menu on the steamlink
Ok
Sure, I'll try
