Problem getting it running on Anrdroid TV

Hello. I'm having a problem running VirtualHere.

My server is: NVidia Shield with Android TV, I installed VirtualHere there and it runs.
My client is: Windows 10 64-bit laptop, I run the client and it looks to run fine.
The USB device is "FrSky XSR-SIM", which is a game controller / gamepad type of device.

I can succesfully connect this device - it is plugged into Shield TV. The PC sees it and I can "use device". Then it appears in Windows in "Game controller" and all looks fine - Windows does see the device. However gamepad movements are not transferred.

Is this a limitation if unlicensed version, or is it just not working?
I would happily buy a license but I have to see it running first.

Or is there any configuration option I can try?

I dont know, i dont have that dongle to test with sorry. Do you have to sync your gamepad to the dongle, or something like that? If so, did you sync the gamepad after its used via virtualhere? I know you need to do this with the xbox dongle sometimes.

There is a binding process (dongle is a radio receiver). But it is bound and LED on the dongle shows everything should be running.
Hmm I could maybe retest this on a different PC, just to see if this issue is related to Android TV or not.

@Michael: is there any way to test it? The software showed me last time that I have only one try left on the trial..

Yes you can uninstall the virtualhere app then re-install again from the app store and it will give you more tries.

I was thinking of something else, when you use the device via virtualhere and it doesnt work can you open Device Manager in windows, select View->Devices By Connection go to the VirtualHere USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller and find the dongle under then right click on it select Properties and see if there is a Power tab and if there is UNcheck Allow Computer to turn off device to save power (https://helpdeskgeek.com/how-to/prevent-windows-from-powering-off-usb-d…)
