RaspberryPi Model B + NitroKey HSM

Hi there,

I'm currently trialing out VirtualHere, and comparing it to other devices such as the Lantronix USB-to-Ethernet device. And if it does eventually actually start working properly. Would more than happily purchase your software.

However, I'm currently running into the following problem. My device, although is seen on the Client, and connects according the client. However, according to the system. It appears as though no device has been connected.

It this a limitation of the trial software?

I have installed and setup both using default configurations. I appreciate that the Client will ONLY run when I'm logged into the server, of which I'm fine with for now for testing. However, it appears that the USB device is not actually connected to the VirtualHere USB Root Hub.

I assume you are using win7 for the client? You should probably use win10.

Anyway it should still work on win7, in device manager does it show any device with an exclamation next to it? Try View -> Devices by Connection and see what it shows under VirtualHere USB Root Hub

Hi there,

Posting an update to this. Found the cause and issue of the problem. And it was due to the way Windows handles SC connections via Terminal Services connections. And that was the problem. Never to mind! Issue is all sorted! And happy to now proceed with purchase after a few more tests.
