Losing licence

Hi.

I have a number of licences for raspberry pi’s running virtualhere software as a remote usb over ip server. I am finding that they are constantly loosing their licence key and I have to manually re-insert it. Is there anything I can do to stop this?

Thanks

The pi will only lose its license key if the server config.ini file is deleted.

That is the only place the key is stored so if you are losing the key, you are deleting that file.

How i can go back , because my program does n t work anymore

Hi Peter, is that also you @comms-branch? If so, the key you have is for a OSX or for a NAS device, not for a raspberry pi device, they are not interchangable

Hi Michael. I have no idea who Peter is, but it's not me. We have 7 Pi's that are used purely as USB over IP servers with connections to multiple clients (OSX). We are not deleting the config.ini file and the units are sometimes powered down over a long period of time. Are there any checks that we can perform to help diagnose this?

Does it say "Trial version for pi3 cloudhub" or does it say "This build is optimized for the pi3" or something like that when its "unlicensed"?
