If you want to remove an ignore you need to stop and exit the server then edit the config.ini file of the server and remove the entry in the IgnoredDevices line. You would need to use sudo to do that.
You can rename any number of devices. If your devices are identical in every way (same vendorid/productid/serial) then there might be problems. Are your devices identical? Right click on the device and select Properties and that will say the vendorid/productid/serial number
