Creality Falcon works with Windows client, but glitchy with Mac client

I'm not sure there is anything that can be done due to Apple, but I figured I'd ask here just in case.

I have a Creality Falcon laser engraver connected to a Raspberry Pi. When using a Windows 8 client, it seems to work fine, and I can use Lightburn without problems. But when I try to use the Mac client, Lightburn connects reliably, but as soon as I try to home the machine, it does so successfully, then Lightburn freezes with "Busy"...and that's it - until I disconnect and reconnect it (via the Mac client, not the actual cable). It is so strange, because once homed, I can use the machine normally, it is just certain commands that seem to be causing it. Unfortunately it needs to be homed before each print, so this means I have to constantly keep disconnecting and reconnecting.

Is there anything I can "tweak" or adjust on MacOS that might help?

Thanks!

  1. Try to home the device via virtualhere and let it "jam"
  2.  Open MacOS Activity Monitor
  3. Find the VirtualHereUniversal process listed then and then from the View -> Sample Process then the Sample will open, click Save.... then can you email the sample to mail [at] virtualhere.com (mail[at]virtualhere[dot]com) thanks.
