Hi. I have successfully installed "vhusbdmips" on my router: WNDR4300, with Chaos Calmer 15.05.
VirtualHere works fine, unfortunately I get only ~2.5MB/s transfers from connected USB drives.
I checked with htop, and "vhusbdmips" uses around ~90-100% of CPU when I'm transfering files.
Is there anything I can do to reduce CPU usage and make transfer speeds faster?
.
You would need to use the CPU optimized version, which will give better performance and possibly lower cpu usage for the same throughput.
Can you do
cat /proc/cpuinfo
so i can see what the cpu supportsSure:

Thank you for the replies.

Is it possible to somehow test vhusbdmips74kc before purchasing it?
I dont have a way to do that
I dont have a way to do that at the moment, just buy it and if the performance is the same or very close to the generic build ill give you a refund...
