Do you plan to implement a feature allowing to send requests for releasing occupied devices?
Would be nice to have it, especially when you share a device over Internet.

Bumping this old thread. I ran a client with --admin but there was no option to disconnect another client. If it matters, the other client has auto connect turned on.
I think what would be handy is a "steal connection" function. So one (admin) client could steal the connection from an auto-connect client, and release it when s/he was done with it, and the auto-connect client would reconnect shortly thereafter.

You cannot have a client auto
You cannot have a client auto-use, and then remotely disconnect, its two opposites.
