Change device vendor ID and product ID

Hi,

I am trying to use a software (MS Teams Rooms), which contains a hard-coded whitelist of supported devices from certified partners (HP, logitech, etc.)
Among these devices, there are HDMI ingest adapters - basically, it captures a video stream from an HDMI plug, and exposes it to the OS as if it was coming from a webcam.
The whitelist is based on vendor ids / product ids. The HDMI ingest adapters are fairly generic devices - but extremely overpriced when sold by these manufacturers.

I would like to try to use a generic version of such an HDMI ingest adapter; is there a way to use VirtualHere to 'masquerade' on the fly the device vendor/product ids?
