PC hanging for a couple minutes when device connecting

Hi
I have a corsair K83, I'm connecting the dongle to my SHIELD TV, and sharing it to my PC via virtualhere.
I'm doing this because it's the only way I won't have issues with windows hotkeys when using moonlight/gamestream.

The problem I have is that when I "use" the device, sometimes it causes my computer to hang for a couple of minutes. It really does freeze altogether, meaning I can't connect via remote desktop or anything of the such. After that time passes it comes back and works normally. Heck I can even stop using and start using it again and it won't hang again until my PC has gone to sleep or rebooted.

Did you say you are writing a batch file when a device connects or disconnects on the client for your automation?

Yes, I'm planning to, but as is right now, even when I use the "always use this device" option, when my pc (client) comes back from sleep, this hang happens, for a minute or so, then it's back to normal.

Ok very strange, ive never heard of this issue. Regarding the hanging, i actually think network communications is working because the virtualhere server will drop the connection after 12 seconds if it doesnt hear anything from the client. So my guess is actually the client is running fine because if the k83 hasnt disconnected when it comes back alive again the network communications must have continued even if the screen as blocked.

I dont think this is related to virtualhere, e.g https://forum.corsair.com/forums/topic/172077-icue-causing-system-to-ha… . Are you using the latest version of iQue? Maybe Uninstall iQue if you can
