Mac OS Client Connecting Optical Drives / Film Scanners

I just was trying out the trial version of the software prior to buying an Rpi 4 and setting this up, but I have met some significant issues. Ideally, I would use this to share out 2 usb scanners and some USB optical drives. However, when using the Mac OS latest Server and the Mac OS latest client, I am not able to share either the scanners nor the optical drives. I figured this would have to do with the isochronous error listed on the client side, but I wanted to ask here as this would certainly fit my needs and I would purchase a license if this is able to work. Do we expect a fix? Is this just a Mac OS client issue? Both Macs running Monterey and the client is being run on an M1 Mac. Thanks again and thanks for maintaining this software.
