Dear support,
I trying to run the 64bit VirtualHere USB Client on a Windows 10 Enterprise 20H2 running as a VMware VDI client.
Right after program startup it crashes regardless starting it as administrator or not with a WerFault.exe subprocess opening.
Could not found any log files so I only have a Windows Event log entry:
Faulting application name: vhui64.exe, version: 5.3.4.0, time stamp: 0x626671d0
Faulting module name: unknown, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x00000000

I tried to install the driver manually but it wasn't helped either.
McAfee Endpoint running but it does not log any blocked entry when I try to start the program.
.
Virtualhere wont crash on startup so it must be the anti-virus. Can you disable it temporarily and see what happens.
.
Managed to disable it (all modules) for a quick try and it is still crashes instantly with the same type of event log entry.
.
OK thats weird, could you try this build https://www.virtualhere.com/sites/default/files/usbclient/test/vhui64.e…
Let me know how it goes.
.
This one starts, finds my shared hub if I manually add it with IP but it instantly complains about expired trial license regardless I installed the server side just yesterday.
.
What server are you running virtualhere on?
.
Linux Mint 20.3
.
Installed from here:
https://github.com/virtualhere/script
.
Generic version
.
Ok you must be doing something that requires a license. E.g changed the tcp port, running the client as a service etc.
.
I run the Server side as a service, have this in the config file:
It=obfuscated
EasyFindId=obfuscated
EasyFindPin=obfuscated
ServerName=Eriol's VirtualHere Server
AllowedDevices=0bf8:1006
NetworkInterface=11.11.11.1
Client (which you linked above) was started just with a doubleclick from windows.
Btw does your trial has expiration or I can use 1 device without expiration?
.
No, you cant use the NetworkInterface setting in the free version.
.
Everything is working now, thanks!
