Hi,
I just bought a license and I am trying to get VirtualHere working but I cant figure out where I am going wrong.
I have downloaded and installed VH client on my 64 bit windows machine running Windows 11: https://virtualhere.com/usb_client_software
On my Nvidia shield, I have installed VH server and whenever I plug in a DS controller, I get the following prompt:
"Open VirtualHere USB Server to handle Wireless Controller? This app has not been granted record permission but could capture audio through this USB device."
I press OK.
And nothing happens. I can see under USB Hubs that "Android Hub" is there, but no controller underneath that. The prompt comes up every time i connect the controller via a cable.
Things I have tried:
- Running vhui64.exe as an Administrator
- Clearing cache on server app on Nvidia shield
- Restoring default settings on VH Client
- Restarting both Nvidia Shield and PC
Nothing seems to get the controller recognised. Could you please support? Not sure if this is relevant, but I bought the Android license through google play store.
Thanks,
Zohaib

Yes the dualsense is a weird controller and searching through the forums here, it seems it wont work direclty plugged in, but i think it should work ok if you have a usb bluetooth dongle and use that via virtualhere instead.

This feels like a major hole? I even tried different cables with no luck. bluetooth dongle is on the way but I need to try wired to be sure things actually will work with Bluetooth which is arguably more complex!

Its not my fault, android is blocking it. Thats why i suggest Bluetooth. If virtualhere cant see it android is not letting it for some reason. Same with keyboards too.
