Hi, just purchased licence to get my fanatec steering wheel (connected and working) along with the diy handbrake, logitech gear shifter and even potentially webcam working.
however, no matter what device I plug in first, the android hub only shows the fanatec wheel.
the devices are powered up as I can see light on handbrake, I've used a powered hub inline before the 4 port and also enabled powered host mode on device.
still I am unable to see all devices connected to the 4 port hub, but worse still is I am unable to see any other device at all in devices on windows machine apart from the fanatec wheel even when individually plugged into a single usb otg adapter, with or without hub.
its a vr headset im using and I know it supports multiple devices native, but i seem locked into the first device I connected to, even with a licence.
i think the problem could be…
i think the problem could be there is no 'grant permission' window popping up- I can see device i connect when I go into the ignore list- but I cannot get it to show over the network.
is there a way I can force permissions for all devices connected? not having the pop up window has left me with only one device
return here to post some…
return here to post some success,
If I restart headset and connect a single device, it works, so its a case of get one device 'permission' to sort itself out at a time, there is still no window or list in server to show they are registering, but seems to do it for me on first fresh app run.
when they are all 'registered' (no idea why first app boot does it for me) I can then add them into the hub, and it works.
So I'm sorted now, bit of a long way around but I'm happy all devices now showing, let the mad experiment begin!
.
THanks for letting me know. Yes Android is a bit clumsy when you have multiple devices connected via a hub.
