No win7 is not supported

Why is Windows 7 not supported? It would be nice if that could be supported in a later version.

I'm using the latest client on Windows 7 and it works okay, despite not being supported. So just download and give it a try.

What about the server?

Windows 7 is not supported because microsoft does not support it anymore. If it works for you great, if it stops working on win7 it wont be fixed

It is still being updated with Extended Support updates if you pay to get them or know how to use the loophole to get them for free (like how I am).

No it is not, win 7 support of any kind was ended on Jan 14,2020

No, it's not a loophole - the extended support costs 50 USD per computer, it is provided by Microsoft and completely legal. Large businesses still rely on Windows 7, that's why Microsoft provides paid extended support until 01/2023.

Windows 7, 8.1, XP, etc is not supported.

You guys need to accept that and move on to the here and now which is windows 10,server 2016 etc.

One more thing - why isn't Windows 8.1 supported? I get your argument for Windows 7 that is out of mainstream support, but Windows 8.1 is fully supported by Microsoft until 2023, so that argument should not apply to Windows 8.1?

Correct 8.1 is not in mainstream support. Only OS's in mainstream support are supported by virtualhere

Latest client works on Windows 7 at-least for one device. Client is a high-end but old Workstation and I'm connecting to it through Wireguard VPN from a Macbook Pro. Need remote USB to use 3D Connexion Space Mouse

Will not recommend using Windows 7 unless it is unavoidable
