I have been trying to connect a raspberry pi to my Laser Engraver ( Neje 3 Max ... not sure this matters but sharing ) I have set up virtualhere USB on raspbian OS 32 bit, I can connect to it with out any issues. When I open up my laser software ( LightBurn ) I can connect to my laser move it all I want, but when I try and do an engraving, it will start, go for about 3 min and then just die. Laser stops, I have been watching the latency spike when trouble shooting, but it seems to be local to the Raspberry Pi, at first I though it was my SD card, replaced it with a HIGH SPEED SD card. Setup again, but seeing the exact same behavior, setup a wireless repeater which its currently plugged into, but this has not made any changes, signals are strong. Was hoping for maybe something that can be tweeked to help with this
.
Use ethernet not wifi between the pi and the router
Use eternet
Micheal, thank you, I have a asus ac1900 that is bridged wireless to my main router, the pi is connected to this bridge by ethernet cable. I have tested my network, with very little latency so not sure what is going on
.
Remove the wireless and go with full ethernet if you can
