TLDR; What's the best low latency dedicated hardware for Virtual Here server?
Hello, I've been playing around with VH and I really like it. I'm currently running a Pi 3B+ with the general trial build to test things out.
I have everything working (single USB PC racing wheel) but I do see some latency spikes when looking at the statistics graphs (around 7/8 ms sometimes, normal < 1ms) and I was wondering if better hardware would help getting the latency spikes down as I suspect that maybe is a bottle neck.
Btw I tried running it of an older Synology NAS (DS112+) but apparently my trial already expired (: I did some of the same latency in the graph though.
I have a managed switch in between of all this so if there are any particular network settings I should set for better performance?
All the devices are connected via ethernet cable.
Ps. I wouldn't mind a Cloudhub installation if that gives the best performance, as I'm only interested in using VH on the device.
Thanks in advance.

The pi3b+ is ok, but it does share the USB port with the network port (they use the same port in the cpu) so its not idea but for a wheel its ok.
The synology is probably better because it has a gigabit ethernet cable and a pretty good cpu even back in the year 2012.
Thanks for the quick reply,…
Thanks for the quick reply, and insight.
Do you think the Synology option would better then say for instance a Pi 4 with cloudhub??
Pi4 would be faster because…
Pi4 would be faster because it is a 4-core cpu
Aha ok, I have a Pi 4 I…
Aha ok, I have a Pi 4 I possibly can borrow to test it out.
Love the software, thanks for making it possible.
