Omega2+ with VH?

Hello,
I am looking for a small Linux-based computer, capable of running VH. I only need to transfer one USB device over wifi for my Project.
(In my case, an Arduino Pro Micro with an IR Camera attached. Sending x, y coordinates, like a mouse)

With the Pi Zero W2 it works flawlessly with VH, already testest it.

I came across the Onion Omega2+ (very small device) and wondered if there is a more powerful system with a similar small footprint.
After all, the Onion is a few years older than the pi zero w and is based on a 580MHz MIPS CPU.

Or should I just give it a try with the Omega?

Just use the gl-ar300m16

Hi Michael,
I need something that is smaller than the Pi Zero W.
That's why I asked if I should go for the Omega.
I have to put the hardware inside a lightgun.

Any suggestions?

Yes virtualhere will work fine on that.

But the omega2 only has 1T1R wifi which is not very good.

You really need to get the MT7628 because that has 2T2R (i.e two radios) for better reception.

Basically anything on aliexpress with a MT7628 should be ok as long as its works with openwrt.

Thanks, but unfortunately, I haven't found a MT7628 device with two antennas and the same footprint as the Omega2.
The Pi Zero W (which works well with Virtualhere) also has only 1T1R
