I downloaded VirtualHere Client for Linux 64-bit. When running in the console, an error occurs: "error 2 modprobing vhci no such file or directory"
Tried to run on debian 12 and ubuntu 22.04
Linux is installed in Hyper-v
How can I solve this problem?
.
Are you running an normal distribution of debian or ubuntu because these always have the necessary drivers compiled into the kernel already?
.
I downloaded distributions from the official sites of ubuntu and debian
command uname -a returns:
Linux afrofusion-belka 5.19.0-46-generic #47~22.04.1-Ubuntu SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Wed Jun 21 15:35:31 UTC 2 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Linux afbelka 6.1.0-11-amd64 #1 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Debian 6.1.38-3 (2023-08-07) x86_64 GNU/Linux
.
OK i just double checked on a fresh install of ubuntu, and actually you can ignore that error, its not important and the client will work fine
.
I installed virtualhere usb server on windows server 2019.
Launched virtualhere client on ubuntu.
The client starts with an error and does not see usb hubs.
Windows server and Ubuntu are pinged in both directions.

You probably have a firewall in the way or something. I dont debug network issues. Virtualhere works fine if the network is ok.
