Anyone using a Google Coral with VirtualHere? I seem to have more latency than I was expecting, but the connection between the client and the server seems fine (ping under 1ms, tests on Windows show similar for server itself). I am using the Coral with Frigate (CCTV) for AI object detection, and my inference speeds are around 40-50ms. I was basing it off this post over on the Home Assistant forums, they were getting around 25ms.
Just wondering if there's anything else I can do to try and to speed things up? I thought power draw might've been an issue, but even with a powered hub it's still the same. It's probably unrelated to VH honestly, but worth asking.
Server: Raspberry Pi 4 8GB running Ubuntu Server (headless) - CPU usage is around 30% total, memory usage same
Client: Virtual machine running Ubuntu Server (headless) - CPU around 40% total
Software: Virtual Here vhusbdarm64a72 | Frigate | Docker
.
They might be using an x86_64 as the server instead of a pi4, not sure...
