Hello,
I'm running VirtualHere on my Macbook so I can keep my gaming pc in the basement with my sim racing rig but still play regular games at my desk with my Logitech gaming mouse + keyboard. I'm using VirtualHere to connect those devices to my PC so I can use Logitech G Hub with them (G Hub on on Mac has far fewer features).
I'm wondering if you have any advice for keeping the mouse and keyboard usable on the server Mac when I am not using them with the PC? Right now the only things I can think of are disconnecting the client once I'm done, or disabling the server.
Neither is ideal or hassle-free:
- disconnecting the client means I have to reconnect each time
- disabling the server means I have to switch to the Mac's trackpad to be able to stop the VirtualHere server
I'm just wondering if I'm missing something and there is an easier way to switch the devices back to the server from the client?
.
Im assuming you have checked Auto-Use in the virtualhere client so it auto-uses the devices? If so then the only way to stop using them is to right click on them and select Stop Using or close the virtualhere client. Once the devices have stopped being used then they will be automatically available on the mac again.
.
Got it, thank you for the quick response!
