HI Michael,
Have at last been able to get the process going to install the Modular KVM/IP units purchased. Have only installed 1 unit to test to make sure all is OK.
I was hoping to log the support using the https://modularkvmip.com link but still no luck, no portion of the site can be accessed from SA. The moment I fire up a VPN link, whether to US, UK, Netherland, Romania or Poland (all I tested) it works perfectly.
Test environment is as follows:
Linux 24.04 LTS 8 Core/24GB/4TB host via VirtualHere Server on Raspberry Pi 3B/4GB (Optimised 64bit version) to macOS Sonoma 14.6.1 on MacBook Pro 16" 32G, 2TB. Wired 1G links on all devices. Resolution on 16" is 3072x1920
Default screen that opens cuts off content on right and at bottom. Difficult to say how much since no scroll bars to show missing extent. Default resolution is 1920x1080x25fps.
Changing the default frame resolution and/or rate has (as expected) no effect on the missing columns, it just affects the size of the window and quality of the displayed contents.
Changing the window size to full screen, no difference to the missing content.
Moving the window from the built-in 16" to external Dell U2713HM, whether windowed or full screen, no difference
My estimate is that around 25% of the original screen content is lost, both on the right and at the bottom.
Another thing every couple of minutes, seems completely erratic, the whole window (or full screen) flashes with shades of green blocks, remain for couple of seconds, then gone again.
BTW, using latest VH USB server (on RPI3B) and latest client on MBP as well.
PS: Can now confirm that almost 23 lines are lost at the bottom
.
Great, glad you received the product, could you tell me the display resolution on the Linux 24.04 LTS 8 Core/24GB/4TB host ?

Do you have a linux pc with a recent kernel? That can also run the virtualhere client and supports KVM/IP sessions.
