Error: 0xC0000005 (Access Violation)

Hello,

I am now getting a crash on the client. When I pull the crash report I see the error of an access violation.

Any ideas on how to correct this? I am using version 4.2.0.7. All newer versions do not seem to communicate with my pi's.

You need to update to the latest client. It will find the pi automatically, if not then you can right click USB Servers->Specify Server and put in the ip address

Michael,

I have tried the latest client, it does not find them. I also tried specifying the servers and it still would not connect to them. This is why I am using an older version because it seems to be the only thing that worked until now.

Any suggestions?

The client is identical. You must have a firewall in the way. Remember the windows firewall sometimes qualifies access by exe path.

Michael,

I managed to find some older versions of clients and they do change. Everything works fine on 4.5.1 but if I go to 4.5.3 or newer nothing works. So something really changed in between those versions. I know you're going to once again say that nothing has changed but when all of the previous versions go from 8mb to 6mb something changed.

I dont fix old versions, so you need to update to the latest somehow and then let me know if there is still an issue.

I have updated to the latest version and it still doesn't work. I am specifying my usb hub address and it still will not locate it.

I dont know, its something with your network. If you put in the pi ip address and it still doesnt work its got to be some network issue.

#9

If it is a network issue why can I go to an older version of your software and it will work? No network or firewall changes needed. The only reason I came here was because I started getting an error that was crashing the software.

I dont debug network issues sorry.

I have another idea, perhaps its your anti-virus blocking vhui64.exe
